This passed inspection?
If insurance companies don't allow knob and tube, I can't believe an FHA inspector would allow this. There is no way this was missed. Its directly over head walking down to the basement and even more visible walking back up. Yes - they are live and un grounded.
Client called me to check this because they were not sure it looked correct. They just passed an FHA inspection 2022. Those are live Romex wires that are exposed. Behind it, bundled various wires, some frayed and brittle.
